A Donation That Shines: Victor Mine diamond helps raise funds for Timmins Hospital

Timmins, ON (April 23, 2012) - De Beers Canada Victor Mine presented a 1.14 carat Princess of Hearts diamond valued at nearly $13,000 to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation in support of the 14th Annual Days Inn Spring Ball Lottery. The lottery alone raises over $100,000 for the hospital and proceeds are allocated directly towards the purchase of two x-ray machines for patients in the John P. Larche Medical Imaging and Cardiopulmonary Department at the Timmins & District Hospital (T&DH).
